We refinish kitchen cabinets, islands, bathroom vanities, and built-ins across Wilmington and the surrounding coast. Doors and drawer fronts are sprayed in our shop for a smooth, factory-like finish, and frames are coated by hand on site, so your home never turns into a spray booth.

OUR PROCESS
Our 3-coat cabinet refinishing process:
REMOVE & LABEL
Doors and drawer fronts come off, with every hinge and piece of hardware labeled so it goes back in the exact same spot. No leveling issues.
SHOP PREP & SPRAY
In our shop, we clean, caulk, and patch, then spray 1 coat of oil-based primer and 2 coats of Sherwin-Williams Emerald Urethane.
FRAMES BY HAND
Cabinet frames get the same 3-coat system on site, by hand, so your kitchen never becomes a spray booth.
REINSTALL
On the final day, everything goes back exactly where it came from.

Will painted cabinets chip or peel?
Most chipping comes from skipped prep or the wrong paint. Our process is built to avoid both: everything is cleaned, an oil-based primer is applied for adhesion, and then 2 coats of Sherwin-Williams Emerald Urethane, a hard, furniture-grade enamel. The finish keeps hardening for a few weeks, so go easy on it at first.
Will there be brush marks?
Doors and drawer fronts are sprayed in our shop for a smooth, factory-like finish. Frames are coated by hand on site with an enamel that levels out smoothly when applied by hand.
Is painting worth it compared to replacing cabinets?
If your cabinet boxes are solid, painting gives you a fresh, updated kitchen for a fraction of the cost of new cabinets, with no demolition and no weeks without a kitchen.
How long does cabinet painting take?
Most cabinet jobs take 4–5 days. Doors and drawer fronts are finished in our shop, while frames are coated on site during short half-day visits. Everything is reinstalled on the final day.
Can I still use my kitchen?
Yes. Your kitchen stays usable the whole time. Your cabinets will just be without doors for a few days while we finish them in our shop.
Do I need to empty my cabinets before you start?
No. Everything inside can stay right where it is. We work on the doors, drawer fronts, and frames, so your dishes, pantry items, and everyday essentials stay put.
